The major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize the POW-MIA issue; to educate the public of the fact that many American prisoners of war were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future veterans from being left behind should they become prisoners of war-missing in action. We are also committed to helping American veterans from all wars!
When one American is not worth the effort to be found, we as American's have lost!
Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is not a motorcycle club. While many of our members do ride motorcycles others also drive cars and trucks in our events. Rolling Thunder®, Inc. membership is open to the public and you do not have to be a veteran.

Three Centuries of Freedom

Over Two Centuries ago, the United States began as an experiment in self-government and freedom and has endured since then. Today, its democratic way of life remains an example to the world. One of the principal reasons for its longevity is the fact that generation after generation of brave souls have been willing to defend it. From Lexington, Mass., to Gettysburg, to Belleau Wood and the Ardenne Forest; to Iwo Jima and Midway; to Pusan and Inchon; to Hamburger Hill and Hue, to the Middle East and the War on Terror; our Nation has been blessed with the courage of men and women from all walks of life who were and are willing to step up and defend our way of life. We owe each and everyone of them a deep measure of gratitude.

Come one and all and honor our veterans at the Shenandoah County Fair on the 27th of August.
